Brian Dillon from NEXUS, Dublin explains the function and purpose of SPEAK system in order to demonstrate a formative evaluation of local community projects in the Irish Republic. SPEAK supports strategic planning for managers and community actors by producing information to make informed decisions; evaluation by ongoing internal reviews; cross project periodic assessments; facilitation for external inputs ; knowledge development by networking based on sharing information between projects, counties, regions and themes.
