The establishment of a regional VET policy dialogue would have the main purpose of permanently supporting more strongly regionally oriented VET by bringing together the people involved in the regional VET system. Before a start is made in determining concrete reform stages and measures, the people involved should have the opportunity to agree on a common understanding and based on policy framework guidelines (Leitbild) for their regional VET system. In this context the regionally relevant development concepts for the job market and the industrial policies should be known. Either to define VET policy and to determine the guidelines in detail.
