The European Commission proposal for European qualification framework (EQF) has been subject to public debate in European Union member states.
The VETNET forum examines the current phase of the debate on the basis of three inputs:
- Conceptual and methodological issues related in the making of the EQF
- The relations between the EQF and national frameworks
- The role of European cooperation in developing sectoral qualification frameworks.
The discussion in the VETNET Forum will highlight the following questions:
- What is the contribution of research to the further preparation of the EQF?
- What is the future role for European VET research alongside (or independently of) the EQF?
